Wild meadow 2
Wild meadow 2. Inspired by the wild flower meadows of the Chilterns, this is painted in a loose, fluid style to capture the ever changing nature of the flowers as they grow, bloom and fade.
The Chilterns are a crescent of chalk hills running primarily through Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire. The nature reserves protect ancient pastures and woods that are home to rare species of flora and fauna.
Acrylic, mixed media, finished with cold wax on wooden panel 30 X 30 cm (~12 X 12 inches)
