Inspired by nature and the wild flower meadows in the countriside around where I live, this picture celebrates the effervescent emergence of the bright spring blooms. It is formed of a multitude of layers which give depth and texture.
One of my favourite times of the year, I feel recharged and uplifted by the beauty of the fresh new growth.

Acrylic, crayons, graphite, mixed media and finished with cold wax on wooden panel 30 X 30 cm (~12 X 12 inches)
Frame is 43.5 X 43.5 X3.5 cm (~ 17 X 17 X 1.25 inches)
The picture is finished with a protective wax finish which gives it a gorgeous subtle sheen. The sides of the panel are painted off white.
Picture is supplied framed in a simple white wooden frame, hand painted and waxed.
